GP Practices

The centre is home to three GP Practices, a walk in centre, the Community Dental Service and we hold daily clinics covering Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Diabetic Eye Screening, Dietetics and Treatment Rooms.

The clinics are by appointment only and these can be made via your GP.

All GP practices have open lists and are happy to discuss all your medical requirements. All the practices have male and female doctors and their receptionists are there to help you as much as possible with queries, appointments and repeat prescriptions and will ensure that you use the services provided by the practices.

These include, Ante Natal, Post Natal, Stress Management, Alcohol Issues, Chronic Disease management, Elderly Health Checks, Minor Surgery and many others.

The walk in Centre continues to be very busy and is operational from 08.00 to 20.00 hrs 7 days a week.

The Community Dental department provides emergency dental cover from 08.30 to 21.00 hrs 7 days a week. This service is not a walk in centre and patients must make an appointment before attending. Patients who require this service must telephone 0151 300 8439. The patients will then be triaged over the telephone and an appointment made for them to come to the surgery.

The Centre has been very busy over the last few months and we have continued to work very closely with Community Organisations within the Everton Area.

Community organisations continue to hold drop in sessions to assist people within the community with any problems they may have. We are continuing to work with Fuel Poverty, Healthy Homes and Alcohol Awareness groups.

We are looking to expand the number of community activities within the centre and would welcome any ideas from people within the neighbourhood.

PSS and Age Concern Liverpool are working with Liverpool PCT to deliver Liverpool’s NHS Health Trainers programme, a Government initiative to reduce health inequalities. So what are you waiting for? Make today the first day of a healthier lifestyle by making an appointment.
