Mental Health First Aid is an introductory session design for unpaid carers to understand and see the first signs of mental health problems. It is a 2 day session spread over 2 weeks aimed at unpaid carers working in the community.
They have been offering this course for the last year to all their partners and a lot of local care-giving organisations have been very interested, as a result of this they are offering this session completely free of charge (even the tea and coffee) to those who provide care on an unpaid basis.
This course is normally £103 per person, but due to its popularity they are able to offer it completely free.
