Annual General Meeting Invite:
Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust would like to invite you to their first Annual General Meeting, which is to be held 20th September 1-3pm at the Princess Suite, Aintree Racecourse.
LCH is at the heart of the delivery of healthcare within the communities of Liverpool and neighbouring areas, with a strong history of providing valued and innovative care.
The Trust’s services allow people to be cared for in their own community and stay as independent as possible, rather than having to go to hospital for treatment. Many of our services are delivered out-of-hours, with 24 hour, 7 day a week access. The theme for the event is the ‘Seven Ages of Man’, from Shakespeare’s “As You Like It”. The theme maps out seven different stages of life and can be reflected in the services we provide in the community – effectively demonstrating the Trust’s involvement in delivering care from birth right through to end of life.
The Annual General Meeting will provide you with an opportunity to meet a number of our services and engage with the wider community to see the outstanding work we have achieved over the past few years.
Also, as part of our statutory requirements we will present our Annual Report and Financial Accounts for 2010/11.
