If you care about how healthcare services can work together with local people to deliver a better deal, this is your chance to do something about it.
Aim for individuals:
• The event is an important step towards a more joined-up approach to providing healthcare services in the city region.
• Meet with key health professionals to get the big picture from them regarding the upcoming NHS changes.
• Explore how we can all work together to support the new local health service structures.
You can also visit exhibition stands showing the work and achievements of a variety of NHS and voluntary, community and faith organisations currently providing services and activity relating to health.
This event is aimed at all Liverpool residents, patients and service users: Everyone is welcome.
The event will bring together both existing and emerging networks:
- Liverpool Local Involvement Network Members
- Welfare Organisations Committee
- Local voluntary and community organisations
- Key Officers of the PCT
- Key Officers and Commissioners from the Local Authority
- GP’s/Consortia
- Local council members (Appropriate to Health and Wellbeing)
- Trusts and Foundation Trusts
Aims For all partners:
- to explore and understand the new emerging health structures and recognise their potential role within it
- to build and develop stronger relationships through the recognition of what each partner can bring to complement and support structures and activity.
- to explore the work and achievements of a variety of voluntary, community and faith organisations who currently provide services and activity relating to this agenda.
- to explore future networking and joined up approaches
