Liverpool LINk Healthy Cities Report

This report represents the findings and recommendations of a Information Gathering Group convened by Liverpool LINk in response to LINk members’ identified priority: ‘Healthy City’.

This report expresses the thoughts of the Group and makes a series of recommendations for tackling the identified issues in Liverpool.

Aside from regular guest speakers at Task and Finish meetings, Liverpool LINk held an Open Space event at the LACE Centre in May 2010 and a series of neighbourhood meetings in June and July at which useful information and suggestions from the public were collected. These have been incorporated into this report alongside the 121 responses received to a questionnaire, which was compiled and circulated by the Group.

Recommendations

Group members have made a series of recommendations. Recommendations have been grouped under headings reflecting the 5 central themes of the WHO Healthy Cities project.
