Liverpool: A Healthy City? - Have your say and help the LINk

We’d be really interested in your opinions!

28/05/2010

A group of Liverpool LINk members are currently looking at services for older people and mental health services in Liverpool and how these have been influenced by the fact that Liverpool has been part of the World Health Organisation’s Healthy Cities network since 1986.

We’d be really interested in your opinions on the following 8 questions.

Any information you tell us will be kept anonymous but it will help to inform the report and recommendations which we’ll produce later this year.

  • Did you know Liverpool was part of the European Healthy Cities network?
  • Do you know that 2010 is Liverpool’s Year of Health and Wellbeing?
  • What does health and wellbeing mean to you? (e.g. mental/physical/support networks/environment)
  • Do you think the public are able to influence the way health and social care services operate and what gets prioritised locally? (e.g. consultation/ neighbourhood partnerships /LINk/ patient or user groups)
  • Do you know where to get information, advice and support about services for older people and mental health support services?
  • Do you find it easy to access health and care services? (e.g. general information/ opening times/ transport/ location)
  • Do you think Liverpool is an Age Friendly city?
  • Do you think Liverpool values the ‘wellbeing and happiness’ of its residents?

Copy and paste these questions into an email  - add your response, and send back to us at info@liverpoollink.org.uk or give the LINk team a call on 0151 227 5177

OR fill in the Word document at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for your time and your input.

Our Healthy Cities report and recommendations will be available on our website later this year and we will also post any responses we get to our recommendations – from the PCT, Liverpool City Council etc – so that you can see how the information we’ve collected from people such as yourselves has made a difference.
