Liverpool Introduction to Campaigning Workshop

Friday, 18th June 2010, 9.30 am – 4.30 pm Liverpool Centre for Arts Development, 2a Franceys St off Brownlow Hill, Liverpool L3 5YQ

Do you want to make your voice heard by people in power? Do you want to influence decisions made by the council, UK government, the health service or other bodies that affect your community? Have you started to campaign for change and want advice on how to get to the next level?

If so, the SMK Introduction to Campaigning workshop is for you.

The day will provide:

• Insight into the successful features of a campaign
• Sessions on the key steps in planning a campaign
• An opportunity to consult experts such as experienced campaigners, MPs and journalists on how to put your ideas into practice and what tactics have the most impact.

This introductory level campaign workshop is for individuals and voluntary organisations. The workshop is £10 per individual. Lunch and refreshments are provided on the day.
