Liverpool LINk releases new Toolkit

Liverpool LINk will provide training on the effective running of a task and finish group for LINk members, other LINks or other third sector organisations.

A Task and Finish Toolkit has been compiled by the Liverpool LINk Support Team based on their LINk’s experiences during the first ‘round’ of Task and Finish Groups. This year’s new Task and Finish Group members will be attempting to learn from the experiences, successes and problems faced last year and will be using this toolkit as a guide.

The toolkit covers topics such as Terms of Reference, Action Planning, Research Methods and the role of LINk Support Staff in a comprehensive 42 page guide. We hope it will also be useful to other LINks across the country as they conduct research, write reports and make recommendations.

Liverpool LINk’s completed Task & Finish reports are:

• “Too cheap, too strong, too available” – report of Alcohol Task and Finish Group
• “Weighing Liverpool Up” – report of Healthy Weight Task and Finish Group
• “Personalisation: The Way Forward” – report of Personalisation Task and Finish Group

All three reports are available on the Liverpool LINk web portal under publications - together with the responses received from the relevant commissioners for each service.
