Welcome to Liverpool LINk

Liverpool Local Involvement Network (LINk) is an independent network made up of local people and groups.

LINks operate throughout the UK and aim to give people a stronger voice in how their health and social care services are delivered. LINk is hosted by Liverpool Charity & Voluntary Services (LCVS).

How good was your experience last time you visited your health or social care provider?

'Rate Our Service'  is a website where you can rate your local health and social care services anonymously with a touch of a button - from your hospital trust, to your pharmacy or even a loved one's care home. By highlighting good practice or flagging up services where there is room for improvement, Liverpool can work towards improving services for all. Click on the banner above.

Liverpool LINk - will become Local HealthWatch organisations in April 2013. Local Authorities will be under a duty to ensure that there is an effective and efficient local HealthWatch in their area and in Liverpool discussions are currently taking place between Liverpool LINk, Liverpool City Council, and the current host organisation, Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS) to make arrangements to ensure a smooth transition. HealthWatch will be an independent consumer champion for the public both locally and nationally, aiming to promote better outcomes in health for all and in social care for adults. We will keep you up to date with further changes as they happen. Log onto their website here for more info!

Your chance to have your say on health and social care

Volunteer with us!

Liverpool LINk relies on people who are using Liverpool health and social care services telling us what has been good, bad or indifferent about their hospitals, GPs, dentists, care homes and pharmacies, and how they think these services could be improved. We need your help to get this right! If you would like to get involved, please contact a member of the LINk Support Team. You can give as much or as little time as you wish. Training and out of pocket expenses will be given.
