Apprenticeship newsletter - promoting apprenticeships to the North West

31\08\5010

The first edition of Skills for Care’s apprenticeship newsletter looks at good practice from around the region including:

  • Salford City Council who have recently registered 28 of its existing employees to complete an apprenticeship in health and social care.
  • Jac Bradley and Danielle Parker, two young apprentices from Manor House, who tell us about their experiences as apprentices in social care.
  • Cheshire Centre for Independent Living who are running a pilot project providing apprenticeships for personal assistants.
  • Cheshire Homecare Services and their training provider who tell us about their experience of recruiting an apprentice.

The National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) round off the newsletter with advice and information about how they can help employers. Download the newsletter and find out how an apprentice could help you business - http://northwest.skillsforcare.org.uk/apprenticeship/
